Wilderness Inventory Changed As a result of public comment com-ment and participation, approximately ap-proximately 942,000 acres of public land in Utah have been deleted from what was originally recommended for wilderness intensive inventory inven-tory by the Bureau of Land Management. In announcing his decision on what units would receive intensive inventories, William G. Leavell, BLM associate state director, said 7,000 comments were received from 1,600 people on 296 inventory units across the state. He added that his decision will become effective effec-tive September 12, 1979, 30 days after this announcement. announce-ment.
