Show i Wednesday, September 21, 1977 More Air! Page 11 "Breathing is the most simple thing in the world," proclaims Monte Scoville. "You don't have to be conscious con-scious of it but once you do become . conscious you change the word recreation into re-creation." "That," he continues, "is the outward experience to bring it into the inward." Monte Scoville has a basic yet unique practice called "OH Breathing and Feeling Accomplishment" which he claims brings " mental and physical well-being. "The body weight is 65 per cent oxygen," Monte explains, ex-plains, "and what you breathe is what you're feeding your body more than food is." A 156-pound man is composed of 101 pounds of oxygen, 28 pounds of carbon, 15 pounds of hydrogen and 4.6 pounds of nitrogen, all elements in the air we breathe, he said. "The body is not created to handle pollutions, poisons and some of the foods that are going in these days. It needs to compensate and nasal breathing and looking for the OH (oxidation heat) is the compensation factor," the Park City resident continued. con-tinued. OH Breathing involves simple steps: 1. Begin breathing consciously con-sciously through your nose. 2. Count each normal breath (in, out) by 2's. 3. Look for your body regulator to begin working with an increased oxidation heat warmth under your left arm. (This means more oxygen "food" is being used and is bringing you better health). 4. Begin waiting down the time you start counting each day and tabulate totals on a monthly day card. According to Scoville, OH Breathing enhances alertness, aler-tness, aids body diffusion, digestion, elimination and, thus, causes energy increases in-creases naturally. i f ( f alD'iirt t.f t U v, .f. RED BANJO 12 Price Night Wednesday Sept. 21st i In appreciation of those people who donated to help finance I Roxanne's trip to South America. 320 Main Street 649-9901 Monte Scoville Unlike Yoga which requires a tranquil surrounding surroun-ding removed from daily things at the time of practice, prac-tice, OH Breathing can be done anywhere at anytime. It is an excellent means to utilize waste time, waiting, driving, sitting, breaks, watching wat-ching TV, listening, worshiping wor-shiping or other pasttimes. Scoville recommends OH Breathing to the ill as well as the healthy. "New cells are re-created as you feel the OH," says Scoville. "I hesitate to say what this will do in the area of cancer, but I believe it will eliminate diseased cells." Scoville, who holds a Master's degree from B.Y.U. in Educational Administration, Ad-ministration, says his personal per-sonal discovery, which came during a 120-hour fast, is something religious leaders and teachers have experienced experien-ced for years but have never been conscious of. Scoville describes the experience as a natural one rather than a, religious one, however. He has written 1,000 pages and recorded over 300 tapes to aid people in the OH process. "The important thing at' first," explains Scoville, "is seeing that people practice and I have many, many more ideas to help people." Scoville's OH Breathing remains non-profit. "If people feel good, they will help others and make the information flow." For further details contact Monte Scoville at 649-9597 or write P.O.
