He is survived by his wife Helen of 45 years, one daughter and four sons, Vera Hardman, Las Vegas, Nev.; Chris Stanley, Eureka, Calif.; Walter James (Tiffany) Watson; Jeff E. (Karen) Watson; and Daniel Clark Watson, all of American Fork; and a brother, Roy Allen Watson, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services were held Friday, June 12, at the American Fork Hillcrest Stake Center. Interment was in the American Fork City Cemetery. - Josephine N. Johnson Our loving sister, wife, mother, moth-er, grandmother, and precious great-grandmother, Josephine Sarah Nelson Johnson, passed away June 11, 1998 at her home. She was born March, 14, 1927, in Welby, Utah, to Edward Nels Nelson and Sadie Louise Turner Nelson. She married Nile R. Johnson Aug. 16"t 1946 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. They have resided in their beved home in Highland for 52 years. Josephine was a loving, nurturing nur-turing wife, mother, grandmother, grandmoth-er, and great grandmother. Her greatest jewels in life were her family. She way the oldest of 11 brothers and sisters. She loved and treasureu her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. grand-children. They were most perfect in her loving eyes. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her dedicated dedi-cated and loving husband, Nile R. Johnson of Highland; her and Nile's children, Douglas N. Johnson, West Valley; Elaine J. Bainter, Sandy; Rick L. (Barbara) Johnson, American ' 'f" Fork; Nila J. (Kim) Mikesell, Morgan; Jamie L. Welsch, American Fork. They have 17 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren; grandchil-dren; brothers broth-ers and sisters: sis-ters: Edward Eugene Nelson, American Fork; Dorothy Irene Fiering and Thomas William Nelson, Price; Daniel L. Nelson, Pleasant Grove; Franklin (Dee) Nelson, Downey, Idaho; Rose Donna Kelly, West Valley; Linda Louise Powell and Carl Richard Nelson of Lehi. She was nreceded in death by her father and mother; 2 sisters, Roberta Jones and Audrey Lois Smith; 2 grandchildren, grandchil-dren, Bradley Lynn Johnson and Jeffory Nile Bainter. Jeff, who had only left us a year ago in February, came and escorted Grandma through the veil, where we know her suffering has ended. Thank you Mom and Grandma, for your love and sacrifice. We will greatly miss you. Funeral services were held Monday, June 15 in the Highland 14th Ward LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. Daniel Clark Watson, 37, of American Fork our beloved son. brother, and uncle, passed away Friday, June 12, 1998 of a m a 8 s i v e heart attack. He joined his father "Bill" who passed away three days earlier to help him pave the roads in Heaven. He was born November 4, 1960 in Provo to James William and Helen Clancv Watson. His early childhood was spent in Las Vegas until his family moved to Utah in 1972. He attended schools in Pleasant Grove. He worked for Arnold Glade S. Shelley Funeral services for Glade Searle Shelley were held on Monday, June 15, 1998 in the American Fork 23rd Ward. Glade passed away in his sleep on Thursday, June 11 at his home in American Fork of heart failure. Glade was born in American Fork, Utah, January 7, 1930 to Frank G. and Fannie Searle Shelley. He graduated from American Fork High School in 1948 and from BYU in 1952. He served in the Korean War for two years. He was married to Eva Young in the Salt Lake Temple June 6, 1950. He worked first for Meadow Gold Dairy and BYU and then for Utah County Health Department where he became Director of Environmental Health. He retired in 1993 after 27 years. He enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with friends and family, raising beef cattle and Suffolk sheep. He is survived by his wife, Eva, sons and daughters, Michael and Christine Shelley Sullivan, Harold and Jeneal Garfield Shelley, Stanley and Andrea Bradley Hogan Shelley, and David and Susan Shelley Rogers; 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, broth-ers, Arlo F. Shelley and Blaine G. Shelley. Burial was in American Fork Cemetery under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary. Virgil Jorgensen Virgil Jorgensen, 79, died June 14, 199H in American Fork He was born Dec 22, 1918 to Daniel H and Eve Cunningham Jorgensen He married mar-ried Wanda Winn, June 6, 1949, in the Logan LDS Temple. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially espe-cially camping, fishing, and gardening. gar-dening. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He as cherished and adored by his family, and he will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, and tender 3 loving ways He was an active member of the LDS Church, having held numerous positions throughout his life. Preceded in death by four brothers: Bernell, Farrell, Drew, Leo; and one sister, Vivian.
