With the work of their starting start-ing pitcher, Cannon Carter, the first 1 vo innings belonged to the Brewers. He gave up a two-out two-out single to Wade Jasperson, but struck out Justin Strasburg to hold the Indians scoreless. In the bottom of the inning, Aaron Brady singled in Carter, then came home on an error to give the Brewers a 2-0 lead. In the top of the second, it was shortstop Brady who held the Indians in check. After the inning opened with Dave Smith grounding out to Carter, Nick Mahedy singled into right. However, Brady threw out two straight batters. During the bottom of the second, the Brewers staged their biggest rally of the night. On one out, they loaded the bases, and a Brady walk scored Carter. The Brewers picked up another two runs on an error and a Jeff McCarty single, but after catcher Devin Smith tagged Brady at home, reMever Jasperson struck out aron Porter to end the inning. The Indians began to challenge chal-lenge the lead when Nicky Street scored on an error after being moved to third by Jasperson's two-out single. In the bottom of the third, Jasperson gave up two walks, but he kept the Brewers from making runs. one out in the fourth, Inuian Chase Parry fired a one-out single into center, then tried stealing home. A throw from catcher Clay Hooley allowed him to be tagged out. Carter struck out Devin Smith to keep the Indians scoreless. After keeping the Brewers from scoring, the Indians pum-meled pum-meled them in the fifth. Jasperson's two-run single opened a four-run rally that tied the score at five. Hooley hit a two-out single in hrpes of breaking the deadlock, dead-lock, jut Nick Boren grounded out to third baseman Parry before the Brewers could pull back ahead. Brady Hardman hit a two-run two-run single in the sixth to win the game for the Indians. In other Pony League action on June 12, Cody Hocver singled sin-gled in two runs and 'Kevin Carter doubled in another two to lead the Red Sox to a 10-1 win over the Braves. The City of Fun carnival will be in the Downtown Park. Sibshop Kids who have brothers and sisters with special needs have needs of their own. Sibshops give brothers and sisters a chance to share the unisual concerns and unusual opportunities they experience experi-ence as brothers and sisters of children with special needs in a fun, recreational setting.
