She I Lydia Folkes was working as a DVM (developmentalist) in May of 1989 when she was chosen Employee of the Month for the work she did with the residents. - She is now employed at Alpine V alley Care as a food service supervisor, super-visor, and where she is considered a great cook and "the best cookie baker in Utah County." She and her husband Willie, along with their two sons Rogerio and Ryan, reside in American Fork. Willie is employed by the state of Utah as Adult Protective Investigator Investi-gator for the Department of Social Services. Rogerio and Ryan are good students and are active in their' church and in school sports. 'Portrait of Emma' to run at Valley Center Playhouse In recent years, early day Mormon men and women have been the subject of one-person shows. These shows have dealt with the individual's lives, personalities, times, and inner-most thoughts. Because this year marks the sesquicentennial of the LDS Church's Relief Society, Valley Center Playhouse is offering six perfomancesoTPortraitofEmma" on April 10, 11, 13, 17, 18, and 20. Performance will begin, at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $3. Sorry, no small children will be admitted. "Portrait of Emma" will be performed by Jody Renstrom. The show deals with the life of Emma Hale Smith, wife of the Prophet Joseph Smith. This one-woman drama takes Emma from early childhood to the grieving young widow of the martyred prophet.
