October Drought Broken.After 28 Rainless Days After 28 rainless days, the October drought was broken last Thursday with a trace of moisture. The following day, almost al-most two-tenths of rain fell over ov-er the Pleasant Grove area. The storm continued with a trace on the last day of the month and returned Nov. 2 with a near quarter of an inch soaker. soak-er. Employment Up in Utah County, Official Informs Employment for October, 1964 shot up to 28,280 in Utah County, Coun-ty, 'which is an increase of 1,380 from September, according to LeRue Thurston, manager of Utah County Employment Service. Ser-vice. The increase was noted in the non-farm and salaried categories, he said.
