The couple will be married Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 in the Manti LDS Temple. 1 Jonathan and Lindsey met while attending at-tending Brigham Young University. Jonathan is a business and marketing major and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Karen and Joshua have chosen to be married for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008. Family and friends are invited to attend at-tend a reception in their honor the following follow-ing evening, Saturday, Aug. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Springville Hobble Creek Stake Center located at 450 S. ,Canyon Road, Springville. Joshua graduated from Century High School and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Carlsbad, California, Spanish Karen Wolf - Joshua Mayer speaking mission. He is currently attending attend-ing Brigham Young University. Karen graduated from Springville High School and served a mission in Des Moines, Iowa. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August?, Au-gust?, 1958. An open house will be held in their honor on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008 at the Spanish Fork Second Ward building located at 98 S. Main Street, Spanish Span-ish Fork, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Merrill is the son of Ray and Edith Carter of Spanish Span-ish Fork, Utah. Janice is the daughter of Willis and Fern Tuckett of Lake Shore. They are the parents of five children: Jeff Carter, Diane Carter Tew, Linda Carter Holz, Judy Carter Ayles and Paula Carter Hulet. they have 16 grandchildren grand-children and two greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Merrill received a bachelor's bache-lor's degree from Brigham Young University and his master's degree from Oklahoma University. He taught school at Springville Spring-ville High School for 22 years. Lana Creer-Harris STAFf WRITER The acquisition of land to the east of the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds has provided pro-vided more parking for Utah County fairgoers. ' Utah County County Fair Executive Chairwoman Carol Harmer said there will be ample free parking for families who plan a day at the fair. Separate parking park-ing is set aside for vendors, ven-dors, horse show trailers, demolition derby trailers and County Fair staff. Traditional parking access ac-cess from South Main Street will be closed during the Fair. Because the free parking lot is at the rear of the fairground, it cannot be seen from the street. It's not hard to find the new parking area. To get to the parking lot turn east off Main Street onto 300 South; turn south onto 200 East.
