Show Thursday, July 24, 2008 16 SPRINGVILLE HERALD Two wrestling champions in one Springville family! After a few decades of mediocrity in Springville Wrestling, the last five years have put Springville wrestling on the map, not just in Utah but across the nation. Jason Chamberlain received what equals the Heismann Trophy of high school wrestling this year. Follwing in Chamberlain's footsteps are two brothers from Springville. Logan and Trevor Kinross recently recent-ly competed at the AAU Grand Nationals in Castle Rock, Colorado. The local club team, Champion's Cham-pion's Wrestling Club, made the trek thanks to a corporate corpo-rate donation from Neways in Springville. The Kinross brothers had not been practicing prac-ticing with the club recently due to a heavy baseball schedule. After watching their teammates perform so well in the USA National finals the week before, they both decided to join the club to go and try for their own All-American status. The last minute decision paid off for both of them Logan, Lo-gan, 14, who will be starting his freshman year, ended Logan Kinross pins his opponent at the AAU Grand Nationals Tournament. He won a gold medal in Folkstyle and placed fourth in both Freestyle and Greco Roman. it W t : i , V.-; r-A; .
