This program opens the school one day early so that the seventh graders can become familiar with their school without the distractions of the other grades. The seventh graders will come to school on Tuesday, Tues-day, Aug. 19, and visit all of their classes and meet their teachers, work on their lockers, etc. There will also be an activity fair to inform the incoming students stu-dents of extracurricular activities that are available for them to participate in. A lunch will be provided that includes pizza, soda, milk and cookies. However Howev-er students may bring their own lunch if they wish. Buses will be running that day; the commons area of the school will open at 7:40 a.m. for the students stu-dents to peruse the activ-, activ-, ity fair. The welcome assembly as-sembly will start at 8 a.m. and school will be let out at 1:35 p.m. - an early release time. Please note that after August 19th school will be let out at the regular time of 2:40 p.m. The next day, August 20, the seventh graders are asked to stay home and relax re-lax as the eighth and ninth graders come in for their first day of school. Then on Thursday the 21st, all grades will return to attend the second day of school. Please watch for a detailed schedule that will be sent out with your student's registration and schedule.
