A teen-based financial mastery program from financial literacy service provider, Time & Money, LLC, has recently received a 100 percent approval rating rat-ing from curriculum align ment assessor, ProCert Labs. This independent quality assurance ranking for the Money Mastery General Financial Literacy (GFL) curriculum comes on the heels of the Utah State Office of Education's (USOE) "Primary" stamp of approval as recommended curriculum for teaching financial fi-nancial literacy in all Utah public high schools. A recent bill passed in the Utah legislature not only requires publishers providing provid-ing curriculum materials to Utah school districts be evaluated by the USOE, but publishers must now procure an independent assessment as-sessment by a private quality qual-ity assurance provider in order to assure materials are properly aligned to the state's core standards. According to the Pro-Cert Pro-Cert Labs assessment, the Money Mastery program meets 100 percent of the state's core objectives and provides accurate information infor-mation that is consistently presented. The Money Mastery program pro-gram offers students, and teachers alike, a unique and comprehensive approach ap-proach to financial mastery mas-tery not taught anywhere else, approaching complete financial mastery as a puzzle. puz-zle. While most programs teach financial management manage-ment through a piece-meal approach, introducing various financial concepts randomly and in some cases, cas-es, incompletely, Money Mastery teaches what all the pieces of the financial puzzle are and how to put them together in the right order so they work together togeth-er in harmony. The Money Mastery program for the GFL also includes important tools for teachers to help them explain the program's concepts con-cepts in a systematic fashion, fash-ion, building from one con cept to the next so that a complete financial picture can be created for each student. Information about the program's system and how to apply it are included includ-ed in the curriculum materials. mate-rials.
