Show Church' Ne Local congregations plan services VXi 07 V - - 1 t n - ' Andrew Franklin Hetzel, son of Sheldon Frank and Lynne Hetzel of Springville, returned home Jan. 30th after serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Orlando, Florida. If he can stop shoveling snow, he will speak in church on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 in the Hobble Creek 4th Ward, 1440 E. 900 South, Springville. His grandparents are the late Frank Hetzel and Sandra Hetzel-Hatfield, Hetzel-Hatfield, now remarried to Jerry Hatfield of Springville, and Lee and Delilah Dallington of Smithfield, Utah. Kevin Mohlman, son of Carl and Reva Mohlman of Springville, has returned home after serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints in Detroit Michigan. He will speak in church on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008 at 9 a.m. in the Second Ward, 1785 E. 400 South, Springville. His brothers and sisters are: Dale and Kathy Mohlman, Wendy and Sean McCarthy, Russell and Leslie Mohlman, Jennifer and Hyrum Knapp, Lisa and Chris Knapp and Steve and Sharese Mohlman, who all welcome him home. Springville Senior Citizens The Springville Senior Center has some great new programs. Come and visit and see what they have available for you! Anyone over 50 is welcome to participate. par-ticipate. The February birthday lunch and Valentine's Day celebration will be on Feb. 14. The seniors would like to thank Wheeler Mortuary for making the birthday meals possible each month! Other upcoming events include a Chinese New Year celebration on Feb. 20 and a potluck and bingo night planned for Feb. 29 at 5:30. A trip to the Snow Goose Festival in Delta is planned for Mar. 1. to include a visit to the reservoir to see the geese, a tour of the cheese factory, a quilt show and a visit to the Great Basin Museum. The museum has great exhibits about the dance hall phenomenon and the Japanese-American WWII camp at Topaz Mountain. A dinner with a speaker and entertainment will finish off this trip. On Mar. 21a trip is planned to Ogden to visit the Hill Aerospace Aero-space Museum and Union Station. Tours to St. George Tuacahn's Theater and Branson's Christmas magic are also available. Dereck had a Hobble Creek West Stake YM and YW service project for his Eagle Project making triangle bandages for Springville City CERT. Over 50 Priests and Laurels were involved in the extra fun night which included dinner. Mapleton Senior Citizens plan events, classes The Mapleton seniors thank all who helped make the 2008 Winter Wonderland Wonder-land Ball such a success. If you missed it make sure you plan to attend next year. Seniors please join for a Soup and Salad Pot Luck Lunch on Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m. in the multi-purpose room at the Mapleton City Hall. They have a very friendly group. The exercise room is open to Mapleton seniors and is located in the basement base-ment of the Mapleton City Hall Monday through Friday Fri-day from 8:30 until 11 a.m. and afternoons from 3 until un-til 5:30 p.m. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday they are open from 5:30 until 8 p.m. They are also open from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.
