They do this for two and a half weeks, no matter how they look in those oh-so-cute outfits. They are the D'Males. Colby Sanford is the president of the lucky guys and this year's Drill Misteresses are Casey Lee and Adam Gray. Their last performance was during half-time of the last basketball game of the season. They next perform at the SHS Spirit Bowl on March 10, so come and see those boys shake it! Mr. Springville choosen last week On Saturday, Feb. 18, the SHS auditorium was filled to the brim with the students and citizens of Springville for the Mr. Springville Contest. First the "mystery men" changing the words to make it a Mr. Springville-worthy piece. Then Matt Patrick performed per-formed the three amigos with Todd Swain, and fellow Mr. Springville contestant performed a dance showing Devan Bartholomew playing off their wonderful dancing the piano. Ethan Williams skills. Then they performed their talents. Devan Bartholomew performed a Billy Joel song called "She's Got a Way". Then Mike Het-zel Het-zel showed the audience a video, showing off his mad skills on the snowboard and the finger board, and his wonderful slow-motion abilities. abili-ties. Taylor Cooper performed to "All I Ask of You" from the "Phantom of the Opera", along with his escort Lara Leishman. Then Zac Jensen played the guitar and sang a funny song about "Wonder Boy" with Andrew Lish on the drums. Up next was Dallen Allred, who played a Billy Joel song on the piano called "Piano Man". Cy Credille played an Indigo Girls song tilted "Galileo". Then Levi Taylor played a funny song on his guitar about not being able to play his original song. Braden Etye followed that with an original song on his guitar. Then Greg Goddard sang "Christmas Shoes" and dedicated it to his mother, who had helped him throughout through-out the week. Derek Smith sang "If I Were a Rich Man", was up next dancing with Mike Buzbee, Tyson Stark, Louis Sturgis, and Derek Smith, performing a dance to N'Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye". Andy Turner performed a dance to a song that helped him realize that it's okay to be different called "How Does If Feel" by Avirl Lavine. Mickey Schertal performed per-formed along with fellow contestants Mike Hetzel and Zac Jensen (along with Andrew An-drew Lish) to the song "A Million Ways" by OK Go. Finally, Fi-nally, James Day performed a ballroom dance with Cami Wilmore. Next was the swimwear competition. Devan Bartholomew came out sporting the Hawaiian style wearing a grass skirt. Then Mike Hetzel came out showing show-ing off his wakeboarding skills in a wet suit.
