McCardell Janet Miller McCardell, age 60, passed away at home on December 28, 2004, surrounded sur-rounded by her family after a long, courageous battle with diabetes. She was born July 29, 1944 in Payson, Utah to James and Lois Miller of Springville. She married James McCardell Mc-Cardell June 21, 1964. Janet's hobbies included cooking, sewing, doll making, mak-ing, hair dressing, a multitude multi-tude of crafts, cake decorating, decorat-ing, scrap booking and her kitties, Whitney and J.J. She is survived by her husband; hus-band; daughter, Sheri; brothers, broth-ers, Ronald and Chris; sister, Marsha; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded pre-ceded in death by an infant daughter, Kristi; her parents; brother, Bruce; sister, Linda; Dee Ray Robertson Dee Ray Robertson, 42, of Jensen, Utah passed away on December 31, 2004 of pneumonia. pneu-monia. He was in his favorite spot, his 18-wheeler in Beaver, Utah. He was a big man with an even bigger heart. After meeting Dee Ray, one would walk away feeling like you had been friends for life. His passion in life was driving dri-ving truck and hurrying home to care for his family. The light of his life was his three-year-old son, Chandlar. Dee Ray was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked for US Express as a dedicated truck driver, never nev-er missing a day of work in over ten years. Dee Ray was born April 30, 1962 in Spanish Fork to Raymond Dick Robertson and Rosezella Bigelow Robertson. He married Debbie Deb-bie Snow on January 12, 1991 in Vernal. He is survived by his wife, Men James Ashman LcBaron Jaden James Ashman LeBaron was born at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Cen-ter Friday, Jan. 7, 2005. Our precious little boy stayed with us for one short day. We will miss your cars, trucks, boats and the kisses we would have shared. We love you so much! Until we meet again, love mom and dad. Jaden's parents are Ryan G. LeBaron and Tayva Ann Ashman; grandparents are ' -V" Janet M. McCardell and father-in-law, Harry. The family would like to express their heart felt gratitude grati-tude for the kind and com- fiassionate care she received rom all the nurses and staff members at LDSH Wound Care and a special thanks to sister-in-law Marylynn. Funeral services were held January 3 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary in Salt Lake City. Burial was at Wasatdch Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations dona-tions may be made in Janet McCardell's name at any University of Utah Credit Union location. Dee Ray Robertson Debbie, of Jensen; children, Paul (Patsy), David, Sky and Chandlar; his mother, Rosezella, of Mapleton, Utah; three sisters: Dixie Nilsen of Springville, Utah; LaRee Hig-ginson Hig-ginson of Salem, Utah; Peggy Howell of Vernal, Utah; one brother Ronnie J. Robertson of Mapleton, Utah. He was preceded in death by his father fa-ther and a brother, Bret Dick Robertson. Funeral services were held Thursday January 6, in Jensen. Burial was in the Jensen Cemetery under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Jaden James Ashman LeBaron Deanne Carlston, George LeBaron and James and Melody Ashman. We extend our gratitude to UVRMC newborn ICU for what they did to help Jaden. Shipp Jessie Barton Shipp, 91, of Springville, Utah, passed away January 3, 2005 at Trinity Mission Care Facility in Provo. She was born January Janu-ary 4, 1914 in Greenville to Jesse Horton and Margaret Elizabeth Martin Barton. She attended schools in Greenville and Beaver. Jessie married Otto C. Shipp on July 3, 1931. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on September 27, 1935. Jessie was an active member mem-ber of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she served in many positions posi-tions throughout her life. She spent her life serving her family with great love and compassion. Jessie and her husband served as ordinance workers in the Provo Temple for six years. She is survived by her two children: Margaret (Evan) Henderson of Provo and Clair (Elma) Shipp of Springville; and a son-m-law, Eldon Slater of Vernal; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandcliildren; great-grandcliildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Norma Nell (Rex) Smith of Gainesville, FL; brothers, Gerald Barton of Washington Washing-ton and Keith (Maxine) Barton Bar-ton of Beaver, UT. She was preceded in death by her loving lov-ing husband; one daughter, Diane Slater; her parents and stepmother, Hazel Blackett Barton; grandson, Evan B.
