The rodeo provides all Questar employees and their families fami-lies an opportunity to see first hand the difficult and skilled work that goes into providing reli able gas service. These are the people that who keep gas flowing through the pipelines in all conditions and who inspect home-heating equipment. equip-ment. This year's rodeo featured various timed events in meter setting, pipe cutting, hole digging and valve turning. During a relay race, backhoe operators demonstrated precision by delicately picking up eggs with a small spoon attached to a backhoe's boom bucket and moving them to another location. The free hotline will be offered of-fered Saturday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The toll-free hotline number, 1-800-925-8177, can be used from any where in the Intermountain region. All calls are confidential. Calls to the hotline will be answered by Howard Corneli, MD, and Elizabeth Skokan, MD, both of which are emergency room physicians at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. The health hotline is a free community service provided by the Deseret News and IHC. IHC is a charitable, community-owned, nonprofit health care organization based in Salt Lake City that serves the health needs of Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming residents. The IHC system includes in-cludes health insurance plans, hospitals and associated clinics, and affiliated physicians. Last year, in more than 100,000 cases, cas-es, IHC hospitals and associated clinics provided $31 million in charitable assistance. A Central part of IHC's mission is to provide pro-vide quality medical care to persons with a medical need, regardless of ability to pay.- The oldest town of European origin in the United States is T. Augustine, St. John's County, Florida, founded in 1565 by Pedro Men fil-july can Cancer Society's "Relay For Life" on June 25 and 26. The "Relay For Life" is an 18-hour, team relay event to raise funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer in the community. It is an overnight "Celebration of Life" honoring cancer survivors and is a donations event. Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $1,000 from donors before the event. ALL MONEY RAISED GOES TOWARD CANCER CAN-CER RESEARCH, EDUCATION EDUCA-TION AND SERVICE TO CONTINUE CON-TINUE IN OUR COMMUNITY. Each team commits to have at least one team member walking or running on the track at all times during the 18-hour relay. .'
