She was born on October 25, 1914, to Ernest and Irene Gale Shipp in Beaver, Utah. Even though her mother died when she was only 11, Jeneva had already been taught to cook, keep a clean home and preserve the fresh summer fruits and vegetables vege-tables for winter. This she continued to do. helping her father raise her younger brothers and sisters. On October 24, 1931, Jeneva married Elmo Gillies. He rode all night on horseback from Richfield to Beaver to arrive in time for the wedding. On July 12, 1956, their marriage was sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. Jeneva lived in Beaver Bea-ver until 1951 when she moved with Elmo to Springville where he worked for Genvea Steel. Here she continued contin-ued to enjoy hobbies of knitting, fishing, can ning, baking and home-making. home-making. She has knit many items for friends and family. She was active in the LDS Church teaching Primary for 14 years, Jr. Sunday School CoordinatorChorister Coordina-torChorister for 14 years and a longtime Relief Society Visiting Teacher. She was born on March 13, 1953 to Daniel Spafford and Claire Rowland Bagley in Provo, Utah. She was raised and attended schools in Springville. Spr-ingville. She attended Utah Valley Community College and was on the UVCC Dean's List during the 1990-91 school year, she was also on the National Dean's List during the 1991-92 school year. She was elected a member of Thi The Ta Kappa in 1990. Annette graduated in 1992 with a degree in Electronic and Computer Technology. She was a certified Respiratory Technician and a licensed licen-sed Respiratory Practitioner Practitio-ner in the State of Utah. Beverly Fay Simons Lunceford, 55, of Springville, Spr-ingville, died August 2, 1995 at Mountain View Hospital, of complications complica-tions from surgery. She was born May 27, 1940 in Fairview, Utah to Jay E. and Alice Fay Cox Simons. She married Reed Memmott in 1961. They were later divorced. di-vorced. She married O. Jess Lunceford, June 16, 1973. Beverly lived and made her home in Springville Spr-ingville for 23 years. She owned her own business and loved to work. She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, yard work, horses, ani Clara Clara Harmer, 79, of Springville, died August 3, 1995 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center following a lingering lin-gering illness. She was born July, 8, 1916 in Springville, to Vernon and Henrietta Robertson Harmer. Clara worked for Springville Banking Company for 25 years.' She also worked for American Savings and Loan and the Utah State University Extension Service, both in Salt Lake City. Upon retiring Paul H. Paul Herbert Michael, Mi-chael, age 74, of Maple-ton, Maple-ton, passed away July 29, 1995 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. Cen-ter. He was born December De-cember 10, 1920 in Winston Salem, North Carolina to Walter C. and Ila Parker Michael. He married Estelle Day on October 18, 1947 in York, South Carolina. She passed away on October 29, 1973. He later married Arvella Adams Nichols on December De-cember 27, 1974 in Las Vegas, NV. Paul was educated in. North Carolina, and he later moved to California.
