The program included Miss Springville, Bethany Ann Peterson, Peter-son, who spoke to the kids about setting their life goals and "writing" "writ-ing" their own future without the use of harmful drugs. Five-time, World Champion Cowboy Lewis Field also addressed the audience and told the kids about doing good things that they enjoyed even though others might think it was "dumb". Field related his story about how other kids thought that being a cowboy was "dumb" and now, because of his persistence, he was able to succeed suc-ceed where others failed. Officer Senn and Police Sargent Sar-gent Dave Caron announced the program. Officer Senn said that the reason Mr. Field was chosen to speak to the kids, was that the kids had brought up Lewis' name when they had talked about the media as a form of pressure to use drugs. Mr. Field has turned down several alcohol and tobacco companies wanting him to endorse en-dorse their products. "That in itself says a lot for an individual, especially when other athletes, : even though they might not use the product, are still willing to endorse it because of the money," officer Senn said.
