View December 17 and 18 were memorable dates at Mt. View Hospital in Payson because the new tower area that accommodates accommo-dates the Intensive Care Unit, Respiratory Therapy department, and Pediatric Unit saw their first patients. The first patient in the 12-bed ICU Unit was Aubrey Tadd of Spanish Fork. He was moved comfortably by the nurses followed by three other patients. All telemetry patients (whose heart rate is monitored) are cared for in the Intensive Care Unit. The first patient in Pediatrics was Pam and John Wardenburg's baby. Pam is employed at Mt. View Hospital as an ER Clerk. Many of the nursing staff came in to help with the move and relocate relo-cate equipment, etc. Everything went smoothly and the employees and patients are excited about the new up-to-date environment. An open house is planned for the end of February when all of the remodeling on the first floor will be finished. f f 1 '"-"if' ; C ,) I Dayna Whiting, daughter of Jim and Joyce Whiting of Springville, Spr-ingville, has returned home after serving an LDS mission in Independence, Missouri.
