A garden reception will be held for the newly-weds newly-weds at the home of the bride's grandmother, Jackie Snow, 381 West 800 South, Springville. The bride-to-be graduated from Springville High school and LDS Seminary. She also graduated graduat-ed from Brigham Young University with a BS degree in Nursing. She is currently employed at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where she works in the intensive care units. Her fiance graduated from Grants Pass High School. He served an LDS mission in Boston, Massachusetts. He also graduated from BYU with a degree in film production. Ralph Nunn and Andrea Sumsion 1 - ,.-- I f Dee Mecham to celebrate An 80th birthday garden celebration cele-bration will be held for Dee Mecham Mec-ham on Saturday, July 27, 1991 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the home of her duaghtcr and son-in-law, Shirl and Marilyn Groneman, 1335 East Hobble Creek Drive. Mrs. Mecham was born in Lehi, Utah to George W. and Mary Harvey, the tenth, of 11 children. She attended school in Lehi until the 7th grade when the family moved to Salt Lake. There she attended Jackson Jr. High, West High School and LDS Business Busi-ness College. She married Thcll Mecham June 15, 1940 and moved to American Am-erican Fork until 1956 when they moved to California. While there she worked for an oral surgeon as office manager and was President of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Association. Dee has been an active member mem-ber of the LDS Church serving as President of the MIA Coordinator Coordina-tor of the Jr. Sunday School and teacher in the MIA Sunday School and Primary. She is an active member of the Springville Senior Citizens. She has four grand-children, nine great-grandchildren, two step daughters and one step-son, six step-grandchildren and one slcp-grcat-great-grandchild, three sisters sis-ters and one brother.
