The grand opening will feature the opening of their new quick lube facility which will be able to change the oil and lubricate the chassis of most automobiles in about 10 minutes. All are welcome to come in and look around this weekend at the new facility. Quiclistop Autocare open for business on Main St. QuickStop Autocare, 480 South Main Street, Springville has planned its grand opening June 30 thru July 5. After extensive remodeling of the former Miner's Auto, this new facility fa-cility will be offering complete auto care facilities including a 10-min-ute oil change, state inspections, brakes, shocks, alignments, tires and related services. QuickStop also supplies full service and self service gasoline, propane and convenience store items. QuickStop is owned by Springville residents, Bill Duncan and his sons, Brad and Corey Duncan. Chad Smith, is also a co-owner and will assume the management role of this business. When asked about the unique combination of services, Brad Duncan said "Springville has always al-ways needed a QuickLube (10 minute oil change) business. From our surveys of Springville residents, the majority of car owners are forced to leave town to find this service. QuickStop has all the features of the more common national chains such as Minute Lube or Jiffy Lube, but it's more convenient for Springville residents, and it's priced right." Regarding the other services provided by QuickStop: "Quick-Stop "Quick-Stop is bringing back the concept of the full service gasoline station, but adding a 21st Century touch. Our computer system wiir'be tracking track-ing the vehicle maintenance his- always well represented even though they have Utah's other track (Bonneville). (Bon-neville). Winners from Salty City were Kenny Wilkerson Jr. in the Super Stock Heat, Scott Mullen, Late Model Heat, Kim Lawrence, Street Stock Main Event and Tracy Eaton, Late ModelSuper Stock Main Event. Springville's Suntana Raceway recently received more recognition from Salt Lake Drivers as the entire en-tire Beehive Three Quarter Midget Race Car Association named Suntana Sun-tana as their home track. After the races on a Saturday night, you can often find the drivers and fans alike enjoying a meal in one of our restaurants or settling down for the night at a local motel. They buy food, lodging, fuel and auto parts as needed. Racing is not only fun, it's good for our economy. Thirty to fifty drivers, their crews and followers fol-lowers are here every Saturday night. Fans at the track are always measured meas-ured in the hundreds and some nights into the thousands. Suntana can easily seat up to 5,000 spectators. tory of all our customers. It will be recommending service schedules to help prevent those costly major repairs needed when items like oil changes, brake & shock service, and alignments are not performed. We'll also be able to track gasoline mileage mile-age per vehicle." "Most importantly, the service will be quick, convenient and reasonably reasona-bly priced. There will be no need for Springville residents to go to Provo or Spanish Fork for these automotive services."
