I brush my teeth after every meal and I still have bad breath. Why? A. One of the reasons you may have bad breath could be that you are not flossing everyday. Flossing removes particles that may be wedged between your teeth. It also removes bacteria growing between your teeth and around your gums. These food particles and bacteria are probably the cause of your bad breath. Brushing your tongue can also help cut down on the amount of bacteria in your mouth. Also using a mouthwash can make a big difference. This column is presented in the interest in-terest of better dentol health. Send questions to: Dr. Ben W. Gardner 330 E. 400 S.
