He was born Nov. 4, 1921, at Spanish Fork, the son of James C. and Edna Jane Losser William Lindsay M. Earl Monahan M. Earl Monahan, 75, of Mapleton died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1984, at his home following an extended illness. He was born Feb. 11, 1908 at Butte, Mt. to Harlan and Margaret Louise McGuire Monahan. He was married to Doris Thomas Oct. 6, 1934 at Butte, Mt. His early life was spent in Butte where he attended public and M. Earl Monahan t . Dora Harris Dora Fullmer Harris, 75, of Lindon, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1983, at , ''"c Ulan Valley Hospital following a massive stroke. She was born May 31, 1908 in Mapleton to Milton and Sara Edith Van Leuven Fullmer. She married Kenneth E. Harris February 1927. They later divorced. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Lindon Sixth Ward. She had served as Primary President and had also worked as a Primary teacher at the Utah state Training School in American Fork. She lived in and young school Springville Mapleton as a girl, attending there. Call 225-3746. tfc, 1984 - The Springville William Lindsay Lindsay. He married Ann Marie Carter, Sept. 2, 1946, and was later divorced. He married Evelyn Ivie Sorensen, June 18, 1972, in Elko, Nev. He was raised on a farm in Mapleton where he attended schools. He graduated from Springville High School. He was a veteran of World War II and served with the Marine Corps in a series of battles in the South Pacific and China. He had worked for the Rio Grande Railroad and U.S. Steel and at the time of his death was retired from the Operating Engineers Local 3 as a heavy duty equipment operator. He was a member of the VFW and had served as commander of the Parochial schools. He was employed as an Optical Technician for Riggs Optical and Davis Optical. He retired from American Optical in Salt Lake City. He has lived in Mapleton for the past 11 years. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving, wife of Mapleton, daughter Mrs. Don (Marlene) Olsen, Salem, Utah; 2 grandchildren, two brothers: William Monahan and James Monahan, both of Butte. Catholic Scripture' Burial Service will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 5, 1984 at 11 a.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel, 211 East 200 South, Springville,. Friends may call at the mortuary Wed. evening from 7 until 9 p.m. or Thursday morning one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. age 72 after attending night school. She had worked at the Dugway Hospital for 21 years and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Senior Citizens and participated in the Fun Band. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Kenneth Robert Harris, Novato, Calif.; Larry A. Harris, Pleasant Grove; Romona Lystrip of Orem; Dorothy Sisam, American Fork; 11 grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, four sisters, Elsie Proto of Oakland, Calif.; Bertha Atwood of Murray Meral Mer chant of Midvale, and Alberta Bowen of Pocatello, Idaho. A daughter Norita Clark preceded her in death. Burial was held on Tuesday in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Wayne Wilson Wayne John Wilson, 61, Orem, brother of Lynn Wilson and Lucille Packard of Springville, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 1983 at his home, He Was born Nov. 28, 1922 in Payson, a son of Samuel David and Mary Taylor Wilson. He married LaPreal Chaviz, Sept. 13, 1948, at PrOVO. She died April 15, 1970, Sui r ivors include a son, John Wilson of Orem; a granddaughter grand-daughter ; four brothers: Don Wilson of Salem; Max Wilson of Seattle, Wash.; Lavar Wilson of Victorville, Calif., and Lynn Wilson of Springville; a sister, Lucille Packard ' of Springville. Graveside services were held last Friday at noon at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville under the direction Rigby-Park Memorial Funeral Home of Payson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Marie Lindsay. Burial was held Saturday in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery with military rites by Region 4 VFW. She was preceded in death by one son, Loy Claude Forshee. Graveside services were held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Provo City Cemetery.
