' IE The sit;ht of a small hypodermic needle sends many people into paroxysms of fear. They would rather fare a raging fire than the tiny prick of an immunization shot. How many of us avoid a moment of minor pain, enduring instead years of misery that the shot would cure? So it is w ith repentance. It can lie painful to carry a heavy load of guilt through the years, yet that load can be carried away hy repenting, by clearing up the habits and deeds that scar us spiritually. Christ hJJ promised to carry our burden, if we but forsake our sins and promise to follow him. f,,v THIRTEENTH WARD Bishop James W.
