Lowe of Mapleton, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jackie, to Daniel Otto Perazzo, son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Perazzo of Fallon, Nev. They will be married today in the Manti LDS Temple. They will be honored with a reception that evening at the Second and Sixth Ward Chapel in Mapleton, from 8 to 10 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. They will also be honored with a reception on June 26, in Fallon, Nev. Jackie is an honor graduate from Springville High School, and graduated from four years of seminary. She was active in FHA, and was listed in the Who's Who among high school students. She attended Ricks College, and UTC in Provo, where she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and recently graduated from Weber State College extension at Utah State University with a degree in Applied Health Science and became a registered nurse. She was listed on the Deans list among college students. Daniel graduated with honors from Churchill County High School in 1977, and graduated from four years of seminary. He served a mission to Boston, Mass., for the LDS Church. He has also attended BYU and USU, where he was enrolled in a dairyherdsman program. The couple will make their home in Fallon, where Daniel will work at the Perazzo Brothers Dairy Farm and Jackie will work at Churchill Public Hospital as a registered nurse. Prenuptial showers were given by Peggy Park and Terri Daniels, both friends of the bride, and Sherry Winder and Amy Lowe, sisters of the bride. club news social events i weddings : Blackhawk James Hall and Sharlyn West Adventists to hold Conference in Hobblecreek Canyon James Hall to wed Provo girl Utah County Seventh-day Seventh-day Adventists will host the fifteenth annual Nevada-Utah Conference Campmeeting, in Hobblecreek Hob-blecreek Canyon, June 22-28, 22-28, where approximately 1,200 Adventists will gather for special meetings and outdoor camping. Meetings will be held in thenaw pavillion that was constructed last year by the Nevada - Utah Conference Con-ference at a cost of $130,000.00. Smaller, circus tents are used to house youth and special interest group meetings. This campmeeting will gather Adventists from Utah, Nevada and eastern California, to study the scriptures in the light of present - day events; to re-emphasize spiritual values and to study the Adventist action programs. Evening meetings, beginning at 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, are the main events and will feature high ranking church officials including H.M.S. Richards, a pioneer Adventist radio broadcaster broad-caster in his 51st year of broadcasting with the program "Voice of Prophecy." Richards and his vocal quartet will be on the campgrounds June 26 and 27 for three programs. During campmeeting week the Adventist Book Center, usually based in Reno, Nevada, will open its doors offering a complete line of Christian books, recordings, missionary literature and vegetarian foods. This meeting of Adventists Ad-ventists is one of more than 50 such meetings held each summer by local conferences of the church throughout the United States and Canada. All meetings are open to the public and schedules may be obtained ob-tained by calling 374-2978. Food services will be available Monday through Friday. Both the book center and food services will be closed Friday at sundown to Saturday at sundown in observance of the Sabbath Sab-bath hours. DUP pioneer museum open The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum of Pioneer Relics is open during the summer from Monday through Friday. DUP members are hostesses and the hours are 2 to 5 p.m. It is also available when the Chamber of Commerce Com-merce office is open, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The museum is located at the Community Service Center in Springville. There is no admittance charge. Americans write more than 24 billion checks a year-over 100 checks a person. Sharlyn West, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack West Jr., Provo, will wed James A. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rolla Hall, Springville, Friday June 19, in the Manti LDS Temple. A wedding brunch at the bridegroom's parent's home will follow the ceremony. A reception will honor the couple that evening at the home of the bride's parents, 1295 Oakcrest Cricle. Diane Jarman will serve as the matron of honor. Mary Ellen Hall, Jonell West, Cheryl Hall and Pamelyn West will attend. Best man will be Craig Hall and Derik West will attend. at-tend. Special guests will be the grandparents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Jack West Sr., and Mr. Richard Remmele. The bride-elect graduated from Provo High School and LDS Seminary. She is currently employed at Sundance Sun-dance in Provo Canyon. The prospective groom is a graduate of Springville High School, and is presently employed by W.W. Clyde, in Springville. He also skis with the Ski Patrol at Sundance Sun-dance resort. Erdmann and Diane Elise Morgan were married June 17, in the Seattle LDS Temple. A recep- tion in their honor was held that evening in the Seattle ; North 16th Ward Chapel. An open house for them will be held at the Wendell Erdmann residence, 131 N. 200 W., Springville, Saturday, June 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend this open house. Diane is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernal E. Morgan of Seattle. She graduated from Shoreline High School with honors. She was active in gymnastics and other sports. She is also a graduate of LDS Seminary. Jim is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Erdmann, Springville. He graduated from Springville High School with honors and also from LDS Seminary. He served an LDS mission in Iceland. He is a student at Brigham Young University majoring in electrical engineering.
