Mallette Robert Daniel Mallette, 80, died Jan. 1, 1981 at the Utah Valley Hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1900 in Lewiston, Idaho, a son of Eugene Robert and Mae Martin Mallette. He married Adeline Rose Voldseth on Feb. 16, 1946 in Shelby, Mont, and they were later divorced. He lived in Montana most of his life, where he owned and operated a bar and nightclub for 30 years. He made his home in Las Vegas, Nev. for 10 years before moving to Provo six months ago. He was a member of the Catholic, Church. ; Surviving is a son, Eugene Mallette of Springville; one brother and five sisters. Funeral Mass was conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in the St. Williams Catholic Church in Shelby, Mont., Holy Rosary was recited Sunday at 7: 30 p.m. in the Burns Funeral Home in Shelby. He was born Mar. 5, 1930, at Junction, Utah, the son of Delbert and Leola Chamberlain Brinkerhoff. He never married. He attended elementary elemen-tary school in Junction and graduated from the Piute High School in Circleville. He later trained in Spanish Fork to become a watchmaker and had a watch repair business in Springville for 20 years.
