A spokesman from Nebo School District will be in attendance to discuss these vital issues and to inform parents on why the school district does what it does. This PTA meeting is a combined meeting for all schools and all interested citizens are encouraged to attend and learn why problems exist in the above mentioned areas. A skit was presented under the direction of Oralynn Ash. ' The group sang old primary songs and a game was played. A crocheted wall spice gift was given each guest as a favor. New reunion officers were chosen for next year and include Ethel Phillips, Grace Richmond, Rich-mond, Marie Stone and Alta Taylor. A point system has been established and the top troop is awarded a special trophy each quarter. Honors this Court of Honor went to Mapleton First Ward. Brodie F. Jones, High Council member over the scouting program, presented a fine ax to the troop. Gene Cook is serving as the scout master. The points system is awarded for merit badges earned, rank advancement achieved, scouts in uniform and family support of the troop at Courts of Honors. Elder Wayne Martin has recently returned from the California, Arcadia LDS Mission. He is the son of Mrs. Helen Martin. Sfftuquitte Ml Dan Johnson Fiber Tech names new man The growth of Fiber Technology Corporation of Provo, Utah is evidenced by the appointment ap-pointment of Mr. Dan Johnson as Director of Finance. Mr. Johnson is a native of Washington State but attended schools in California and Utah. He attended Brigham Young University and has had extensive experience in accounting, marketing and systems analysis. For the past three years, Mr. Johnson has been affiliated with a Central Utah public accounting firm. Mr. Larry J. Ashton, Fibertek President stated, "Mr. Johnson is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, including the development of financial resources and to maintain good local and national banking relationships." Fibertek employs 38 people and specializes in the development of composite component parts and structures for aerospace, aircraft and industrial customers. Among the many projects currently under way at Fibertek is a major contract with the U.S. Army for the development of the launch beam for a portable por-table bridge.
