Members of the S.A.V.E.R.S. organization come from all aspects of society. There are people in the organization who are professionally trained such as doctors and nurses, while there are also salesmen, businessmen and plumbers. Whatever walk of life the volunteers come from, they are all required to take special courses which help improve their abilities. These classes include medical care, emergency situation handling and even a course on defensive defen-sive driving. Members of the organization say they enjoy their volunteer work, but would like to inform the public how to assist them in times of emergency. They ask that area residents vividly display all house numbers to help find the emergency. When giving directions to S.A.V.E.R.S. be sure tp specify whether you are in Springville or Mapleton. If possible, have someone standing outside the house where the emergency is so medical crews can act quickly.
