Vets should apply now for fall benefits at technical college Veterans eligible . for educational assistance under the GI Bill and who intend to enter Utah Technical College at Provo for the fall, 1975, quarter-should quarter-should make application for their GI Benefits now, according to Anthony Famulary, director of the Utah Tech veterans program. By registering now for GI benefits, the veteran may be reasonably sure of receiving his or her entitlement in time to pay for registration, which is September Sep-tember 25 and 26. According to Mr. Famulary. Also, he noted, if the veteran wishes to participate par-ticipate the advance pay program, he or she must apply before August 1. Under the privisions of the advanced pay program, the student may receive one partial and one full month's check at the time of registration. A second advantage of early application, said the veterans program director, is to insure the applicant getting his or her desired classes at Utah Tech before they fill up. With exception ex-ception of nursing and dental assisting (which are already filled for the fall quarter) all programs at Utah Tech will accept new and continuing students in the fall. Mr. Famulary warned, however, against waiting until the last minute before registration to apply for desired courses. Mr. Famulary, or a representative, will be available at his office at Utah Tech Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. in the summer sum-mer and 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the fall.
