Show ft Dr. Robertson Dr. Robertson certified in plastic surgery Dr. Leo Eugene Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo G. Robertson and formerly of this city, who is a member of the Utah Valley Hospital staff, was recently certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Robertson is a prominent plastic surgeon at the hospital. A native of this city he graduated from the high school here in 1940 and obtained his B. S. and M. D. degrees from the University of Utah. His internship in-ternship was at the City of Detroit Receiving Hospital in Michigan. His residency general surgery was done at Halper Hospital in 1951 to 1955. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1955 to 1957 on the U.S.S. Yorktown CVA-10, an aircraft carrier and held the rank of Commander. He was at the U. S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, California from 1956 to 1957 alter which he lett tne service and was in private practice at Cody, Wyoming from 1957 until 1962. In 1962 and until 1964 he worked on his residency plastic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and was at the Presbyterian St. Luke's hospital and Research and Educational hospitals. He began a private practice at Provo in 1965 where he is still employed. He holds memberships in the Utah County, Utah State A.M.A., American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Reconstructive Surgeons, American Cleft Palate Association, American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery which he received in May of this year. Dr. Robertson and his wife Barbara and five children reside in Provo. A fashion show in a 747 jet over Central Texas featured a white lace wedding dress. The lace was tiered and the cape served as a mantilla headdress for the gown. For those not in any kind of ceremony, the mantilla serves as a cape. The truck was being used by the 19th Special Forces in maneuvers taking place in and near the scene of the accident. Mr. Knight received a fractured frac-tured right wrist, ribs, laceration of the head and right leg. Mrs. Knight suffered a fractured pelvis and hip joint besides dislocated teeth and lacerations about the head. Their daughter Susan received a severe scalp laceration while Jay Lynn apparently was only shaken up and received lacerations. The Knight family was taken to the Wasatch County Hospital in Heber and then transferred to thePayson City Hospital Friday. Mrs. Knight will be confined to the hospital for some time. Glenn Frandsen named bishop Glenn Frandsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Frandsen, was sustained as bishop of the Arlington Second Ward at Riverside, California Sunday in church services. Being a bishop is not new to Mr. Frandsen since he has served in this capacity on three different occasions. He has served at Shreveport, Louisiana, was president of the Phillipines District, and was bishop at Perris, California. He is a major in the Air Force Reserve at March Air Force Base. He and his wife, Evelyn Pulham formerly of Orem, have four children. Thomas Jefferson had a special fondness for pickles, says the National Geographic. He has attended Utah State University and is presently working on his Masters in Agriculture at the University of California in Davis, California. Mike served as SHS Future Farmers of America president the year following his older brother, 1960-61. He has graduated with a B. S. degree IN Agriculture from the Brigham Young University. He is married to the former Barbara Bar-bara Jessee and they have 3 children. Darrell was the 1965-66 FFA president at the high school and attended Utah State University one year prior to filling a mission and is now a student at the BYU majoring in Agriculture. Next year's president of the high school FFA is Steve who has hopes of leading the chapter to new goals and achievements. All of the Bartholomew borthers have been instructed by Loren Phillips, FFA teacher. Mr. Chamberlain matriculated at Orderville High School and served as its FFA president 1951-52. He is married to the former Anna Lee Bartholomew Bar-tholomew and they have four children. They reside in St. George. Every one of the men has participated in FFA judging activities and they have gone to the national convention at Kansas on judging teams. This situation has happened in far away Peru where some 50,000 or more people there were killed leaving thousands and thousands of children orphaned and homeless. They are in deserate need of care. A group of parents within this valley have united to try to give aid and to assist in adoption of orphans from this disaster. The committee is a sub-committee of AYUDA. Mrs. Spencer is the former Sharlee Everett of Provo. A 3rd class petty officer in instrument repair, Mr. Spencer will return to Utah before the end of the month to take his wife and son to San Francisco where he expects to be stationed for the next few months. They have two children, a son Doane, 12, and a daughter, Donna, 8. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in August 1962. Since then he has traveled extensively to 18 countries.
