"The Tiger" was ',. his usual tough, rugged, mean - self, but W 1 1 1 i a m s is a , pretty tough hombre himself and took most of Nenoff i rough stuff in stride and came back to win the match. The fact that Nenoff kept roughing It up with Referee Floyd" Hansen didn't help his 'chances of winning win-ning any. In fact, it just enhanced enhanc-ed Williams' chance for victory, since he was quick to take full advantage of Nenoff s tiffs with Hansen. , Although Nenoff took the first fall in 12 minutes with a self strangle noid, Williams came back to take the second in seven minutes with a Boston crab, and the thh-d in 10 minutes with an- fother Boston Crab. Best Match The best match of the evening was the semifinal event between Kenny Mayne . and Salvador Flores, with Mayne coming out victorious. The fracas provided a little more fireworks and rough stuff than was expected as both boys mixed it up plenty. The bat tie for the first fall was especial ly fast and furious, with first Mayne throwing Flores out of the ring and then Flores graciously returning the compliment. In the rough and tumble affair. Mayne received a bad gash under the left eye that bled quite profusely pro-fusely and gave him some trouble, trou-ble, but he still managed to take two straight falls, winning the first in 19 minutes with an air plane spin and body press, and the second in five minutes with the same tactics. Johnny James and Cal Roberts wrestled to a draw in the preliminary. pre-liminary. Time ran out before either man could win a fSH. BRADENTON, Fla,. This elevation of the draperies naturally cannot be accomplished accomp-lished until hockey and basketball basket-ball have "rung down the curtain" cur-tain" and "closed in a blaze of glory" respectively.
