In most cases it's the day before inspection in-spection and is an event on which every available man is set to work. When the inspection party comes, the officers may be wearing white gloves and they don't want to see any dirt on them after they have run them over objects that collect dust. If your locker is untidy, your per sonal appearance unsatisfactory, ! or dust is found on anything, your chances of getting extra duty are grand. On FIELD DAY you clean everything in sight and then, just to make sure, clean it all over again. FIELD DAY resembles re-sembles spring cleaning in civil-ian civil-ian life. coes. t 9f at gcwvicff. hk t h life u . m rti ALLEY OOP r -LANPTHAT TPNI6HTJ f USTEN, KITTEN.'
