Hollywood, Calif., whose marriage to Mr. Thayne was a quiet affair of Friday evening at the home of her uncle and aunt, Dr. and Mrs. L,. E. McKell. Mr. Thayne is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Thayne of Provo. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Frank T. Bennett at 6 o'clock, in the presence of a few close relatives and friends. The bride wore a navy blue dress with white accessories, and a corsage of orchids. She is a student at the Brig'ham Young university. She was graduated from Punahou academy In Honolulu, Hawaii, and also attended the University of California, at Los Angeles, last year. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma social sorority and Spurs honor&ry sorority. Mr. Thayne is also a student at the B. Y. Y. U. student council coun-cil of '36, held a dinner Monday evening at Haase cafe. . In attendance were Mrs.. Beth Paxman Pulley of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, who was student body vice president; Miss Margaret Boyer, secretary-treasurer; Neal Peterson, Peter-son, senior class president; Leland Priday of Richfield, Banyan editor; edi-tor; Mrs. Ann Clayson Larsen of bgden, public service bureau; and G'lade Anderson, sophomore class president. John Larsen accompanied ac-companied his wife, and Mrs. Anderson An-derson was present, also. An enjoyable time was spent with reports and reminiscing, and games were played. Class reunions are highlight attractions at-tractions every year, and this year, alumni members of clases '16, '21, 20, .'31, . '36, and '40 enjoyed noon luncheons Tuesday. Most unique of these was tthe fifth, .or "wooden" anniversary of the class of '36, held In the woodwork wood-work shop at the university with James and Gerald Anderson, twins, of Payson, co-presidents, in charge. Twenty-five members attended at-tended and an appropriate luncheon lunch-eon was served on shingles as saw solos and duets were played by the Anderson brothers. Community Commu-nity singing of college songs was also featured. Eli Clayson of Provo, was elected elect-ed president for the next five years, and to act as chairman of the reunion five years hence. Following luncheon, the erouo made a trek to the B.Y.U. stadium house, where they viewed the placque which states that the fixtures fix-tures in the stadium house were donated by the class of '36. The silver anniversary of the class of '16 was held in the Maeser building .with 18 members Pres ent. William T. Tew was chair man, presiding in the absence of the president. Dr. Wayne B. Hales, who is engaged in government work at San Antonio, Texas. Robert Hinckley, assistant secretary sec-retary of the interior, at present in England on an airplane inspec-tio inspec-tio assignment, is a member of the class. X question survey which brought out the achievements of each class member was read. Meeting at Sutton's cafe, the class of '21, was in charge of Mrs. Laurel Miner Dickson of Ogden. Fourteen members attended, including in-cluding Ernest Wilkinson, attorney attor-ney in. Washington, D.C who cam by Plane to attend the re-unfon. re-unfon. Twin Pines at Orem, was the scene of the '26 class luncheon, attended by 22 members, nearly all from Utah. Supt. J. C.
