S. Tro-vata Tro-vata social " unit of the B. Y. U.. held Wednesday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Vasco M. Tanner. .. V Featurin a "harvest" theme a color scheme of gold and black was employed in decorating the entertaining rooms and the tea table. A beautiful lace cloth covered cov-ered the table, and a huge gold horn ofplenty, filled with choice fruits, formed the centerpiece Geld candelabra held lighted black candles on the serving table and about the rooms. Tiny gold horns were arranged an the plates. Thirty-five gue-sts and their mothers were bidden. ' Miss Frances Hughes, president; Tdiss Beth Bird, chairman; Mrs. Karl Young, sponsor; Mrs. Tanner and. ' ' . , - Cut salt pork in small cubes. Heat in pan and brown chopped pepper and chopped onion with the pork. Add seasoning and the bread" crumbs. Spread out veal breast and place this stuffing on it. Fold over and tie in shape. Add a little more fat to frying pan and brown the tied veal. Add stock and cover the "meat well, j then roasiJfbr about 2 hours in slow oven (300 deg. F). Add chopped carrots and fresh peas during the last 45 minutes of roasting. .. .. Remove from pan and slice veal. Serve with pan gravy. The bdnes cut. out from the breast so' that the meat 'can be rolled should be added to the pan during roasting to give the gravy added richness F.ish can take the place of meat. It i3 cheaper, too.
