Show A) Carlos Grimm Guest Speaker $t Nineteenth ,Century Event A smart social gathering of Friday afternoon was the open session of Nineteenth Century club, held at Commun-ity Commun-ity cfiurch. Mexican Consul, Carlos Grimm, was the speaker of the day. He chose as his subjects, "Our Neighbor Neigh-bor from Mexico" and "Pan-American Day." His colorful discussion .was concluded with an informal panel of questions ques-tions and answers. 0 - iMrs. A. H. Following the interesting program, delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served by Mrs. Kirk Lcander, Mrs. Ira Cowan and Mrs. W. H. Wagner. Wells of Vineyard announce the engagement en-gagement of their daughter, Wilda to Desmond O. Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs? O. L. Larson of Le Grande, Oregon. The marriage marri-age to be solemnized in the Salt Lake temple in early June. The bride-elect is a graduate of the Lincoln Seminary and high school. She is now a sophomore at the BYU.
