Show Temple Rites Unite Couple SPRINGVILLE Mr. and Mrs Everett Billings of this city an nounce the marriage ol their daughter. Miss Hannah Marie B'llings. to Clinton Erwin Day. son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Day of Fillmore, which took place August 26, in the Salt Lake temple. The bride was charmingly attired at-tired in a wedding dress of real Japanese silk eyelet lace, sent to her by a cousin, Lamar Phillips from Japan. After their temple marriage, the bride and groom were honored honor-ed with a wedding dinner given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bird in Salt Lake City, with close relatives who witnessed the ceremony cere-mony attending as guests. Prior to her marriage, the bride-to-be was honored with a miscellaneous shower given by a number of relatives in the First ward hall and attended by 60 relatives and friends. A program featured the entertainment together to-gether with games and refreshments. refresh-ments. The bride received many lovely wedding gifts. After a short honeymoon, the young couple plan to make their home in Provo and continue their studies at the Brigham Young university. Mrs. Day attended Snow Junior college and is also a former student of the "Y". Mr. Day was recently given his discharge after serving three and a half years in the navy. Springville Old friends and acquaintances held their annual get-to-gether in the form of a 'Do You Remember' party at Valley Tavern with a nicely arranged dinner and pro gram featuring the occasion. Canyon Outing Set By Elders The Seventh ward elders are making preparations for a party to be held at Canyon Glen Wednesday Wed-nesday at 6 o'clock, for all elders and. their partners. Those Having cars are asked to meet at the First-Seventh ward chapel to share transportation with those without cars. They are to take welners and buns and the refreshments committee will serve the additional 'trimmings', the members announce.
