Pulham (Ruby Stratton) by their many friends attending thewedding reception in the Lincoln Lin-coln high school Saturday evening, tendered by the bride'e pafrents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Stratton, of Orem. Mr. Pulham is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mont A. Pulham of McKinnon, Wyoming. The young couple were married Wednesday in the Salt Lake temple. Potted plants in a wide variety of color were arranged about the reception hall. Receiving the 'guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stratton and Mr. and Mrs. Pulham, the parents, John D. Little Linda Leo Pratt and Myrna Larsen were flower girls, and Richard Stratton, Strat-ton, a brother, train-bearer. A hMidsome gown of heavy white satin, en-train, was worn by the bride, and a flowing veil of white net, edged with lace, was caught to a crown of orange blossoms. blos-soms. Her bouquet was of roses and gardenias. All of the attendants attend-ants were frocked in delicate pastels pas-tels and held dainty bouquets o roses. Bishop Boyd Davis was master mas-ter of ceremonies. Dancing was enjoyed and program numbers Included: Solo, Mrs. Lola Tucker; duet, Mr. and Mrs. John Kunni; dance. Jackson, son of Mrs. Mary Jackson of Springville, which took place in Salt Lake City, March 13 The bride's parents and the groom's mother witnessed the ceremony, performed by Bishop Johna Hartcr. Mrs. Jackson was graduated from the Lincoln high school and L.l.fc. seminary. Corp. Jackson is a radio tech nician and has served in the armed arm-ed forces for three years, the last two being spent in Alaska. He is now stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. He and his bride left Friday to make their home for the time being. Several parties have been given for the young couple. Old-Time Dance At Sixth Ward The stage is all set for one of the gayest of dances ever held in the Sixth ward, when, on Tues day night, the M. I. Fults Early Wedding Plans Made Of interest is the betrohtal and approaching marriage of Marjorie Gardner, storekeeper third class, U. S. N. R. Waves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Gardner of Provo, to Ensign Chester L. Fults, U. S. N. R., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis F. Fults of Altamont, Tenn. Wedding plans are being made for April 5, in the L. D. S. chapel in Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mrs. Gardner, parents of th bride-to-be, left this morning morn-ing to attend the nuptials. Miss Gardner is a graduate of the Provo high school, and was in nurses training at the L. D. S. hospital for 14 months before joining the WAVES July 12. She is in the disbursing office, in Washington. Ball Held An attractive affair of the late stake Gold and Green ball, held Thursday evening in the ballroom of the Joseph Smith building. Dorothy Taylor of Lake View was crowned ifeueen of the ball by Sheldon Madsen, and the procession proces-sion of the rdyal party was preceded pre-ceded by 24 gjirls who formed an aisle, and later, presented a dance specialty. Six M.I.A. dances were given by representative from the various wards, and a patriotic drill was featured by the Boy Scouts and Beehive Girls, In which Carol Madsen appeared as the Goddess of Liberty. ' "Hail the Queen," the finale number, was presented by Donna Kirkpatrick, I Hershell Clinger, Leah Rowley, Leo Ford, Marlene Smith, Douglas Hawkins, Verna Loveless and fteed Rowley. Color-bearers Color-bearers were Ekina Scott, Jeannene Watkins, Lorraine Wtlls and Elizabeth Gordon. Rita Hadlock and Mary Lou Harding were ac companists. Cozette Club Party Enjoyed Russian Bank was played at the Cozette Club party given by Mrs. Frances Bowen Thursday evening at her home. Martin Kim ber. 671 East Fifth North street, Friday evening, their daughter, Bettie Jean, was united in marriage mar-riage to Henry A. Huish, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Huish, also of this city. A group of 25 close family members and friends assembled for the 8 o'clock nuptials, the ceremony being performed by Bishop Golden Taylor, formerly of Payson. Pink and white snapdragons and white roses were predominant in the decorations. The bride wore a smart green wool suit with white accessories, and a corsage of white orchids. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Paul Arnold, who was in a navy blue suit, with white accessories. acces-sories. Her corsage was of gardenias gar-denias and roses. Lyrm Wilson of Payson. was best man. Guests enjoyed a buffet supper, the dining table being centered with a beautifully trimmed wedding wed-ding cake, adorned with tiny bridal pair. White tapers were on either side. Both are graduates of Provo high school and the bride was a member of the Qui Viva club.
