Show SECTION TWO PROVO (UTAH) SUNDAY HERALD, SUNDAY, MAY 18, 1941 PAGE THREE POWER PLANT SITE TO BE LANDSCAPED A beautification program designed de-signed to make the Provo municipal munici-pal power plant grounds a genuine genu-ine scenic spot is going: forward, according' to Dr. Vasco M. Tanner, Tan-ner, member of the board of utilities utili-ties who is supervising the work. The project includes planting of lawns, trees and shrubs, construction construc-tion of sidewalks, hard-surfaced drives and curb and gutter, and other beautification activities. Considerable work has already been completed. First step in the beautification program was laying of rock asphalt as-phalt paving and construction of sidewalks on the boulevard running run-ning from Fifth West street to the plant, which is located at about Third West and Seventh North. While the gras and shrubs will be planted within a few weeks, the trees cannot be planted until fall on account of the lateness of the season. Dr. Tanner said.
