WKLI Mrs. Mabel Bunker gave an interesting; lesson on the proper care of floor coverings at the work and business meeting held Tuesdav. the afternoon was spent in making rugs and quilt blocks. A delicious lunch was sold. Mrs. Annie W. Maag was the recipient of a beautifulquilt made by the Relief society women. There were twenty-six members in attendance. attend-ance. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Madsen Sr.. enjoyed i weiner roast Tuesday evening at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Thorit C. Hebertson. The party was held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Stout of Oakland, California, Califor-nia, who have spent the past ten days visiting here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Stout left for their home Thursday morning. Mrs. Elizabeth Humphrey of Salt Lake, Mrs. Ellen Humohrey and Miss Ellen Scorup of Salina visited here durinsr the week with Mr. and Mis. Joseph H. Clegg and family. A capacity house greeted the Primary children in their spring festival "Blossom Time" at the ward hall, Wednesday evening. The hall was beautifully decorated with a profusion of lilacs and tulips, the throne where the queen Persephone and her attendants were seated was pretty with potted pot-ted plants and ferns. One hundred hun-dred children were presented in song and dance with ten little tots dressed as little pink and blue rabbits was outstanding, and the fourteen little boys who danced danc-ed the crickets dance were the hit of the evening. The Trail Builder boys dressed as Roman soldiers braided the May Pole. President Anita Varley was in charge with Mrs. Thelma Larsen directing the dancing. The singing sing-ing was under the direction of Mrs. Leora Harding with Mrs. Edna Ed-na Gammon playing the accompaniment. accom-paniment. Much praise is due the officers and teachers for presenting present-ing to the public such an entertaining enter-taining festival. Mrs. Jennie Fox accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Prudence Holdaway will gc to Salt Lake Saturday where thev meet Mrs. Clara Chase and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Chase of Oakland, California and Mrs. Lida Chase of Ogden, who are enroute to the east on an extended tour. On their return home the Chases will visit in Vineyard for a week with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Prudence Holdaway and other relatives here., J. E.
