Cran-dall Cran-dall and Mrs. Calder. Clifton Pyne was pleasantly surprised sur-prised by a number of' friends at his home Thursday evening, the occasion being his birthday anni versary. Lovely games and tasty refreshments wre enjoyed by the following: Zeonia Mecham, Betty Jean Washburn, Theda Farns- worth. Beth Crandall, Kathleen Frandsen Leo Vernon, Ralph Pet erson. Max Broadhead, and Clif ton Pyne. Mrs. Agnes Bellows and Mrs. Agnes Pace entertained the ladies of their Relief society "beat" at the home of Mrs. Richard Sabey Thursday afternoon. Some of the guests spent their time making paper flowers wihle others served. Mrs. Annie Lunceford gave the lesson on the "Good Samaritaui." Mrs. Kate Cordner rave a retold story. A tastv tray luncheon was served the following ladies, Mrs. Sabey, Mrs. Annie Lunceford, Mrs. Kate Cordner, Mrs. Verena Holt, Mrs. Melba Calder. Mrs. Nita Blair. Mrs. Minnie Gordon, Mrs. Graham. Mrs. Agnes Pace and Mrs. Agne-s Bellows. Mr. and Mrs. James Blair went to Salt Lake City Friday to attend at-tend the funeral services of Mr. Blair's uncle. Mr. Tarton L. Blair. Mrs. Georere Carroll. Mrs. Clif ton Pyne and daughters. Carroll, Lenore and Joan and little son.1 .Timmie accompanied by Mr?. Ray Clark and Mrs. Arthur Sumsion of Snringville motored to Midvale Mondav where they surprised their dauehter and sister. Mrs. Ivan Dimmick on her birthdav anniversary. an-niversary. The Windsor ward Relief society soc-iety ladies attended the Alpine stake conference held in Pleasant Grove Tuesday. were Salt Lake visitors Frttlay.- There will be no evening meeting meet-ing in the ward tonight, giving all an opportunity to attend the Alpine Al-pine school d'trict music festival to be given in the Lincoln high school auditorium commencng at 7 p. m. A very appreciative audience enjoyed the fine production of the Dlays. "The Invisible Hand" and "Gay" under the direction of Mrs. Louise Palmer of Manavu ward, presented in the ward amusement hall Thursday evening. A Mothers' and Daughters' day program will be given Tuesday afternoon at Relief society, commencing com-mencing at 1:45 p. m. The work and business program will also be riven and refreshments served bv districts one and two. All ladles of the ward and their daughters are invited to attend. Processing Tax Board of Review were appointed in Washington Wash-ington in July, 1936. to hear appeals from decisions on tax refunds, but so far they haven't heard a case.
