Slade. The young couple was married Feb. 12 in the Salt Lake temple. The bride, who was formerly Miss Nellie Cox of St. George, is a graduate of the Brigham Young university. Mr. Slade is a resident of Eager, Ariz, and is now attending at-tending the "Y." A group of friends spent th( evening with games and music and special vocal numbers were rendered rend-ered by Misa Mary McGregor Tasty refreshments were served and lovely gifts were presented to . th newlyweds. The rooms were beautifully decoralea witn roses and snapdragons. Installation of Officers Is Held Installation of officers was held at a meeting of the auxiliary to the Mt. Timpanogos camp, V. S. W. V., at the Women's club house Thursday evening. Mrs. C. H. Funk was the installing in-stalling officer, and the following officers were installed: Mrs. Mattie Ellett. Card Party Delightful Neighbors of Woodcraft members mem-bers enjoyed a card party Thursday Thurs-day evening at the lodge hall, six tables of bridge and 500 being played. Mrs. Ellen Hollingshead and Max Roberts won the bridge high Bcore prizes, and Mrs. Verna Christensen Chris-tensen and Glen Christensen, the 500 awards. Glen Bailey received , the door prize. A delicious luncheon was served. Arizona Club To Be Organized A group of women are endeavoring endeav-oring to organize an Arizona . club, the first meeting to be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Olive K. Burningham, located just north of the Lincoln high school. All men or women who have ever lived in Arizona, and their wives and husbands, also Arizona Ari-zona students at the B. Y. U. are urged to meet Wednesday. Mrs. L. J. Beebe of Provo, is announcing the marriage of her daughter. Diana Margaret, to James Vail of Los Angeles, Cal., which took place Valentine's day in Los Angeles. The young couple will make their home there. The bride has been employed in the coast city during the past year. Relief Society Women At Party A group of Third ward Relief Society members met Friday af ternoon at the home of Mrs. Montez Harding, at which time they delightfully surprised Mrs. Emily Carter, the occasion being ner birthday anniversary. Mrs. Carter is reported to be the oldest member of the Third vvard Relief Society choir, in point f service. Progressive "Carter was played. play-ed. Dinner Monday At Third Ward The Third ward men are preparing pre-paring and serving a dinner Monday Mon-day evening at 7 o'clock in the amusement hall, to which all ward members and friends are cordially invited to attend. The affair is to take the plac? of the ward reunion, usually held Feb. 22. and the proceeds will go into the church remodeling unfi. V 3c Sixth Ward Reunion Monday Members and former members of the Sixth ward are invited to the annual reunion to be held Monday in the amusement hall. With the Primary in charge. the youngsters will be entertained with dancing and refreshments commencing at 4o'clock, and at 7:30 o'clock, the adults will meet for a program, dancing and refreshments.
