Wallace Clegg at St. Mark's hospital hos-pital in Salt Lake City, Friday evening. Mr. Clegg is recovering -from a serious operation. Harold Van Wagenen left Friday Fri-day evening to accept a position in the office of the Bryce canyon lodge, and he expects to be there all summer. Mrs. Ed. S. Kimber has returned return-ed from a three weeks' trip to Los Angeles, Cal. Mrs. Starr Nelson of New York York City, the former Roberta Mangum, has arrived in Provo to spend the summer months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Buckley. (Jene Madsen, two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Madsen, is reported to be improv-ingTrom improv-ingTrom a mastoid operation performed per-formed at the Clark clinic a week ago. Beth Muhletein, 6, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Muhlestein, underwent a mastoid operation Saturday at the Aird hospital. Her condition is reported to be good. t ::: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kichard- son ot North Hollywood, Calif., spent the first part of the week with Mr. Richardson's mother, Mrs. M. E. Richardson Mr. and H.rs. Hoy YYillvy and family of Byron, Wyo . have been vVsiting here for a week with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Willey, and Mr and Mrs. Alma Bourne. They will spend a tew uays in Salt Lake City, before returning home. Lyman Partridge left Friday for New York City, where he plans to attend Columbia university next winter. During the .summer, he will either attend the Boy Scout jamboree at Washington. D. C, or he will be connected with the Glen Grey camp in the Adirondacks. Stewarts See Son Graduate PAYSON Dr. and Mrs. L. D. Stewart and son. Dr. Max Stewart, Stew-art, returned home Tuesday evening eve-ning from the east. Dr. and Mrs. Stewart attended the graduation exercises of their son from Marquette Mar-quette Medical school on May 18. He has completed his school work there and will serve his interne-ship interne-ship at St. Marks hospital in Salt City City for one year after vacationing vaca-tioning for a short time here. While in the east, Dr. L. D. Stewart did post-graduate work at the Cook County hospital in Chicago and spent several days at the Mayo Brothers clinic in Rochester, Roch-ester, i Postmasters To Meet Here Provo was chosen as the site for the 15th annual convention of the Utah branch. National League of District Postmasters of the United States, Friday at the conclusion con-clusion of the 14th sessipn- at the Newhousc Hotel in Salt Lake City. The 1930 convention will be held in June. Postmaster J. YV. Dangerfield and Inspector Elvon L. Jackson attended from the Provo office. Mr. Jackson presented a paper and Mr. Dangerfield extended the invitation in-vitation for the 1936 convention. H. J. Sheffield Jr., Kaysville postmaster, was re-elected president presi-dent of the branch. Miss Helen Sturgeon left Saturday Satur-day morning to make her home-in home-in Los Angeles, Cal. Miss Lucile Brimhall of Paris, Marva Swapp. She expends to spenti the summer in Provo. Mrs. Frank R. Taylor and Mrs. Arnold Zabriskie of Raymond, Alberta, Al-berta, Canada have arrived to visit for a month with their ' mother, Mrs. Josephine Goodridge. i Mae Board man left Friday for Ogden canyon, where .siu- will spend the summer. J. H. Swapp and family, who have been spending the winter in Salt Lake City, have returned to their heme in Provo. Miss Irene Kimber of Salt Lake City, is spending the week end in Provo. Mrs. E. J. Josephson has returned re-turned from Los Angeles, Cal., where she and Mr. Josephson have been spending the past month.
