SPANISH FORK Mrs. Gud- ritir Johnson, widow of Marcos Johnson, died Friday evening at ner home after a lingering illness. -She was born in Westman Isle, Iceland, April 26, 1858. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Einar Einarson. She came to Utah and to Spanish Fork, which had ever . since been her home, in 188(. Her husband died some years ago. She is survived by five sons and daughters, Einar W. Johnson, Concord, California; William M. Johnson and Mrs. Wm. G. Hanson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. D. H. Anderson, Ander-son, Samaria, Idaho; Mrs. R. L. Hallar, Salt Lake; 29 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 12 great grandchildren. The body is at the Claudin Funeral Fu-neral home, where it may be viewed prior to the services, ar rangements for which will be announced an-nounced later. Mrs. Johnson had no brothers or sisters in this country. SERVICES HELD i FOR DONA BELL The Pioneer ward chapel was filled to capacity Thursday afternoon, after-noon, when funeral services were held for Dona Bell, 14, Dixotf junior high school student, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bell of provo. Dona died Tuesday from complications compli-cations following an appendicitis attack. William D. Norman of the bishopric, bish-opric, presided at the impressive services and was one of the speakers. speak-ers. Remarks were also made by J. Earl Lewis of the Second ward bishopric, and Orval Watts, home room teacher of Dona. The opening open-ing prayer was offerpd by Bishop Leon Newren, and Eldon Payne closed with prayer. The grave at the Provo city cemetery was dedicated by Dewey Mason. Mrs. Sarah Ramsey sang "Abide With Me." accompanied by Mrs. Vera Peterson, and Mrs. Ramsey and Mrs. Emma Egilson rendered the vocal duet, "Sunset." Alfred Swenson, music teacher at the Dixon school, played a violin number, num-ber, "Angel's Serenade." He was accompanied by Kay Jensen. "Lay My Head Beneatli a Rose," was sung by Evelyn Clark, and the Dixon high school glee club sang "My Task.'' Boys from Dona"s class acted as pallbearers, and the pupils attended the services in a body. The flowers were beautiful. Poultry Manager I Sees Improvement Clyde C.
