Y. U., held at Keeleys. "Gates" proved a delightful theme for the affair, which was given by the active members for the new, alumni and honorary members. Preceding the banquet, the initiation ceremonies were held in the arts building at the university, with the officers of the sorority in charge. Calla lilies in low bowls were arranged on the long banquet ban-quet table, and sprays of lily of the valley and fern were presented pre-sented to the new members, the honor guests on this occasion. occa-sion. The attractive combination place card-booklets were in the form of a gate, on which?) was engraved the Gamma Phi Omicron seal. Green nut cups and green and white mints proved effective. ef-fective. Miss Flo Heindselman, president, made a few welcome remarks and introduced Miss Clara Moore as the toastmistress.
