Rex Johnson, president of the Utah , State Society in the nation's capitol, formerly of Prpvo, represented repre-sented Utah as the official delegate to the unveiling ceremonies for the Jefferson Davis and the- J. Z. Oeorpe -statues in the Hall of Fume at the Capitd on Tuesday, June 2. according to word just received At) the Herald office. Mr. Johnson was acompanied by-Mrs. by-Mrs. J. Stewart Williams, also of iEroyo. In ndition to the formal .presentation speeches, there was a stirring: concert by Xhe U. S. The placing of these two statues in the Hall of Fame by the State of Mississippi is in response to the Invitation of Congress for each state to place statues of its two most famous citizens therein.
