Mrs. Rozetta Johnson gave the lesson 'The Indian Women of the West." Mrs. Ellen E. Holdaway gave a talk on the Navajo and Pueblo Indians. Mrs. Holdaway has very recently re turned from Old Mexico, where she has been visiting. The following fol-lowing program was rendered: Mrs. Ruthv-gave "the legion of Bridal Veil falls"; Misses Alene Johnson and Dorothy Taylor gave an instrumental duet on . the piano; Mrs. Alen H. Students Attend Music Festival OREM Regular activities at Lincoln high school were dropped Friday in favor of: the district music festival being held at American Am-erican Fork. A large percentage of the student stu-dent body participated the music festival. The first project to be presented pre-sented is one urging the passing of ordinances and laws that will make it illegal to sell beer on Sundays and after 12 midnight. In another week when all the petitions have been returned, a joint meeting of members from the eight stakes will be called to present the problem to the town councils. At present, most of the wards and stakes have, turned in their petitions. Working for better mbral security se-curity for the members of the church, each ward has three workers who have been circulating the petitions among the members of the wards. The petitions will be presented to the county commissioners com-missioners for action. If this project is successful, it is probable that the Law Enforcement Enforce-ment League will adopt some other similar cause for consideration. consider-ation. "Wherever the petitions have been presented, they seem to be very successful," stated Attorney Terry.
