(American Wire) Sergeant John Grado of the U. S. army recruiting service, ser-vice, was named the outstanding recruiting officer in the nation re cently. On duty here as recruiting officer offi-cer for the past 12 years, Sgt. Grado has interviewed 4,956 applicants ap-plicants of which 2,755 were accepted ac-cepted for service. His record day was July 1, 1935, when he interviewed 100 applicants.
