Show Local Happenings Mrs. J. T. Davis of Midvale and Lucky, her talking dog, left Tuesday night by United Air Lines for New York City where they will appear on the Gary Moore TV show Friday (today) at 8 a.m. on channel 5. Mrs. Davis is a sister to Mrs. H. R. Gust of Copperton. Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Stevenson and family who formerly resided in the Bourgard Apts., have completed com-pleted moving into their recently purchased home at 273 Main St. Mrs. Mae Stillman and Mrs. Barbara Roby were co-hostesses to the Lady Eagles Wednesday evening. Bridge was played with prizes awarded to Mrs. Amy Members of Ruth Rebekah lodge will hold a practice at the Civic Center on Thursday evening, even-ing, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. All members are urged to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Noble, enroute to their home in Laramie, Lara-mie, Wyo., from Phoenix, Ariz., were house guests of Mrs. Helen Sullenger and daughter, Agnes, last week end. Mr. Noble is brother bro-ther to Mrs. Sullenger. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. I A semi-annual reunion of the 'girls of the class of 1947 was held , at the home of Shirley Stoker of Copperton Thursday evening, March 15. The evening was spent playing Monte Carlo whist with prizes going to Myrlene Burke, first; Darlene Thorne, second; Betty DeMarco, low, and Gloria Farnsworth, cut. Fifteen were in 1 ' attendance. Mr. andiMrs. James Featherstone of Salt ' Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Alma Baker of Magna. Mr. and Mrs. Al Ablett returned re-turned Thursday of last week from a seven-day vacation to Phoenix, Ariz. Social science meeting of the Bingham Ward Relief Society will be held Tuesday, March 27 at 10 a.m. at the church. Lesson will be given by Mrs. Mary Ra-by. Ra-by. All ladies of the ward are invited. A delightful birthday party was given for Patricia Burke on her eighth birthday by her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Burke Saturday, March 17th. Birthday refreshments were served after a theater party was enjoyed. Patricia received receiv-ed many nice gifts. Junior Gleaners of Bingham Ward MIA held a silver wheat Comradie at Bingham Ward last Tuesday night. The girls presented present-ed their mothers with corsages of solver wheat tied with laven-dar laven-dar ribbon. A nice program was given and refreshments were served. About 25 were present. |
