Both of the young ladies are instructors in the New Jersey State University. Mr. and Mrs. Erlandson, Norma and Ada Erlandson, accompanied them to Salt Lake. Mrs. Dave Sijuler has returned home from a week at the Shuler cabin in Payson, Canyon. Mrs. Haydee Smith of Salt Lake, Mrs. f Florence Griffith and Miss Jennie Fairbanks were her guests. Mrs. Hansen was formerly Miss Madge Wyler and she is at the home of Edward W. Crook. Peter Wightmau, Mrs. and Mrs. Florence Griffith were in Salt Lake for the" week entl. Summer School Art Exhibit On At Aspen Grpve ASPEN GROVE The Brigham. Young university Alpine summer school art" exhibit of mountain! paintings opened Friday morning in the art (building and library building of the Alpine campusN with generous contributions of paintings by students and former students of the institutions. The. exhibit is in three sections, the university students and graduate grad-uate section, the high school "section, "sec-tion, and the children's section. Perhap-3, from the point of view of developing talent, the children's section of the exhibit is most interesting, in-teresting, in that it represents the work of, children from six years of age to the junior" high school age, under the direction of Miss May C. Examination For Postmaster At Santaquin Set Applications for postmaster at Santaquin, Utah will close September Septem-ber 8 and the examination for the fourth class office will be held at Provo soon after, the date for assembling as-sembling competitors to be stated in the admission cards which will be mailed to applicants after that date. The compensation of the office was $1100 for the last fiscal year. Applicants must have reached their twenty-first but not their sixth-fifth birthday. They must reside within ttie territory supplied by the post office for which the examination is announced. Applications Appli-cations must be properly executed and on file with the U. S.
