Jensen, "'Y", shows oils and watercolors of true poetic quality. Olive Kimball of Mesa, Arizona, contributes an absorbing group of ilustration color studies. Georg-iana Georg-iana Johnson has loaned a beautiful beau-tiful Aspen Grove group showing" marked individuality of temperament, tempera-ment, some examples of applied art and a collection of work done by her students at Dixon junior Viigh school. Chracter Studies Glen Potter of Bancroft, Idaho, is featuring direct character studies stud-ies in watercolor as well as able landscapes and animal studies in oil. Another Idahoan, Farrell Col-lett, Col-lett, displays robust and expressive illustration studies. His other works in oil and watercolor show the same power. Alice Taylor of Provo attracted attention with her study of distant Utah lake painted from the Lakeview hills. Another Provo painter, Flora Davis Fisher, is shewing decorative work in watercolor wa-tercolor and a pleasing oil of Timp-anogos. Timp-anogos. Eastmond has hung some striking strik-ing pieces in pencil, watercolor, oil and other media, which have been shown before. His Mock prints and etchings drew many admiring comments. OFT, O 1933 3V Nth SERVICE IWC Defendant Found Guilty By Jury Paul Robert Pearson was found guilty by a jury on a charge of second degree burglary in the Fourth district court Monday. Judge Martin M. Larson wilt pronounce pro-nounce sentence next Thursday of from one to 20 years in the state prison. Pearson was arrested in Provo and charged with the burglary of the Reynolds Clothing store and the Jones Jewelry, both of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, on the night of November 7. The distribution of gifts of clothing cloth-ing and jewelry among some girls in Provo by Pearson, led to his arrest. Deputy Sheriffs W. T. Hutchings Riggs, '35, wife of -A. F. Riggs, died this morning at the fiamily residence on South Main street, Springville, from complications following chJdbirth. The condition of the baby, a boy, bom this morning, is regarded as series. Mrs. Riggs was born in Springville, Spring-ville, Dec. 15, 1897, a daughter of Silas and Amelia Fillerup Hutcn-ings.. Hutcn-ings.. She graduated from the Springville high school and attended attend-ed the B. Y. U. She was active in L. D. S. church affairs, having been a teacher in practically every' auxiliary organization of the Second Sec-ond ward. She was Jlelief society secretary for several years. Shvj was married June 15, 1921, in the Salt Lake temple. Surviving are tier husband, baby and lather, afso six brothers and sisters, as follcws: Bernesse, Nora, Loman, Selar, Vernon and APbert Hutchings, all of Springville. Hayes, pastor of St. Mary's Episcopal church of Provo, presented an interesting review re-view of Dr. Lyman Powell's book, "The Life of Mary Baker Eddy." at the Episcopal rectory Sunday evening. eve-ning. Although written by an Episcopal Episco-pal minister, the book presents an unbiased, sympathetic understanding under-standing of Mrs. Eddy and tlfe comparatively new religion which she founded, stated the pastor. Rev.
