Show I A A County Agricultural Agent's NEW BUUL GROUP FORMED A new Jersey Bull asociation has been formed in Sprlngville . and JIapleton. There are four blocks in the association. as-sociation. All four of the association associa-tion sires are Oregon bred bulls. Two' of these bulls have been here - for a year . or more in separate blocks. v Two more blocks were formed by j purchase of the A. C. herd sire - and a splendid bull purchased from Ole Olserr of Ephraim. Both of .these bulls have splendid daughters. daugh-ters. Each block selects two repre- sentatives to form the central .'board who, direct the .care and management of the bull and the entire, en-tire, business of the association. , These four sires, now are some Mf .the outstanding bulls, of the state and are a credit to the dairy industry indus-try of the. county. 74 per cent mature equivalent record. rec-ord. Production classea will be stressed stress-ed more in the future. .The class was under the direction of Howard JtoBerts. dairy herd improvement association tester. - There will ' likely be two classes of this kind at the county fair. Ave. Phone 114 WASHINGTON, April 10. U.E The death of Speaker Longworth throws confusion into the delicately delicate-ly balanced situation in the house of representatives. And it is possible that his widow, Alice Roosevelt Longworth, might succeed to his seat. No woman in . Washington -knows politics more intimately than she. Two Questions Rarsd Longworth's death raises two questions, first whether-tiongworth will be succeeded by. a Democrat from the first Ohio district, and second, who will succeed to his place as the first Republican in the house. Longworth's death makes the count in the house stand now 210 Republicans, 215 Democrats, one Farmer-Labor and three vacancies. Two of the vacancies were left by Republican deaths, those of Henry Allen Cooper of Wisconsin and Longworth, and the other from a normal Democratic district, that created by the death of James B. Aswell, of Louisiana. . Democrats will make a strong fight to win the seat left vacant in Cincinnati by Longworth; who was re-elected, by the uncomfortably small margin of 3,507 votes in that district last November, with a total vote of 97,455 cast. If a Democrat were elected-to Longworth's seat and Wisconsin and. Louisiana urhel a Republican Repub-lican an" Democrat, .respectively, as expected then the two parties would be tied with 217 members each with thedeHsTon, as to organization orga-nization resting upon' Paul Kvale. Farmer-Labor 'of Minnesota. Campaigns Next Republicans ambitious for the speakership will soon begin their campaigns. Those mentioned as candidates include John Q. Tilson, of Connecticut, Connec-ticut, Republican floor leader, who lies next Jn the regular order of succession; Representatives Hock, Kcnsa?; Ramseyer, Towa; Hooper, Michigan; Purnell, Indiana; Snell, New Yorlc, who is chairman ot the important rules committee, and Micheher, Michigan, who is a member mem-ber of the. rules. committee.
