Roundy, of - Pleasant Grove, Wednesday evening in the Windsor ward amusement nail. - The .popular young couple was united in marriage in morning rites performed v by President Robert Young at the Salt Lake LDS temple. Witnessing the ceremony-were parents of the bride and groom,' Mrs. Beth Hyde of Hyland, Mr. and Mrs. John Swen-son Swen-son and Bill Roundy. A- wedding dinner at the Hotel Utah . followed fol-lowed the ceremony. ., . Mr. and Mrs. Delos Pyne, aunt and uncle of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Monson greeted the 300 reception guests at the entrance of the flower-decked hall. "W - r- . The bride was radiant in smart wedding attire of traditional white slipper satin, her wedding gown being cut with tlgm bodice long pointed sleeves and sweet heart neckline with a full skirt of net over satin. For the reception the pretty bride wore traditional white satin gown fashioned with lace yoke and peplin, long pointed sleeves and . train. Her finger tip veil was caught to her head with a cap ' of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds rose-buds and stephanottis. : Bridesmaids were her sisters, Charlene Wentz Donna Wentz, Mrs. , Myrtle Black Mrs. Belva Jones Janet Robertson and Sally Tuellef. Jack Robertson, brother of the grom was best man. . . .. The attendants were attired in pastel colored formats and car ried nosegays of corresponding colors. Little Marie Wentz, Ruth Wentz, and Taniara 1 Robertson, flower girls, were dressed in yel- low and orchid gowns and carried car-ried tiny baskets of flowers Betsy Robertson in orchid was train bearer. -X . Also in the receiving line were the narents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Wentz chose a wine colored formal and Mrs. Robert son a blue one. They wore corsages cor-sages of pink and white , carnations. carna-tions. Also assisting with receiv ing the guests were grandparents, MrsvHelen Wentz, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Dave Robertson, Provo: and Mr. and ' Mrs. Joseph Harker, Farmington. A program was enjoyed by the guests , with Glenn Holley as master of ceremonies. Bishop Oscar Whiting gave a toast to the bride and Bishop R. W. Brad ford toasted the groom. Serving was done from a lace covered table which held a pretty wedding cake and was under the direction of Mrs. Reed Dixon, Mrs. Fern Hills, and Miss Audrey Hills, assisted by Ruth Ann Jensen, Jen-sen, Marilyn Johnson,- Marilyn Whiting, Barbara Greenall, Joan Wilkins, Jeannene Bobbins and Darla Robbins. Grant Niel sen, son of J. C. Nielson' of Spring ville. , The marriage took place in the Garden Park LDS ward in Salt Lake City. Acting as matron of honor to the bride was Mrs. C. E Brown of American ' Fork, "and bridesmaids included. Mrs. Vir- Virginia Hansen, Mrs. Helen Han sen, Marjorie Beard, Lorraine Wannacott and Coralee Anderson of Salt Lake City. Wendell - Fernley of Phoenix, Ariz- performed duties of best man. . Verl Harrison of Provo, Donald Anderson, Earl Nielson and Orin Nielson, were ushers. Miss Hansen is a graduate of the University of Utah and Grant graduated from the Brigham Young university. Elder Isaac Burton solemnized the vows, which were witnessed by several family members. Later the newlywedded v couple was honored at a small reception. For the wedding; Mary donned a charming model of traditional white slipper satin cut .' with slashed neckline and long 'point-ice 'point-ice sleeves. Her filmy net veil fell from a dainty bridal crown, and she carried ! a bouquet of rosebuds and carnations. Former Miss Finch is a grad uate of Lincoln high school and Sharon stake seminary. , She served on a mission in Canada for the LDS church. Mr. Marrott graduated from Provo high school.
